NETSA

December 4, 2023

Dear NETSA member:

We are aware that this time of the year, selling tires and servicing vehicles is keeping you very busy. With staffing a concern for so many, we understand how renewing your commitment to NETSA may not have been your top priority.

Because of the ongoing membership support of businesses like yours, NETSA has been able to monitor activities that affect the independent dealers in New England. We are currently working on legislation in Connecticut on the Extended Producer Responsibility bill that would put an undue burden on our Connecticut members. Here are some of the issues that we continue to work on:

  • Support for the new Maine Right to Repair efforts currently underway in Maine.
  • Successfully supported the Massachusetts Right to Repair.
  • Provided nineteen $2,000 scholarships in 2023.
  • Awarded one $5,000 scholarship to celebrate our $500,000 milestone.
  • Awarded up to 21 scholarships again in 2024.
  • NETSA scholarship efforts will be surpassed $500,000 in 2023.
  • Monitor industry-related legislation throughout New England.
  • Publish four issues of the Road Runner Newsletter yearly.
  • Produce our annual Trade Show and Convention, as well as our annual Scholarship Golf Tournament.
  • Furnish a host of benefits for our members.

We currently have 580 members and want you to remain part of our great association. Being a member of NETSA ensures you have a voice in the issues affecting your business. If you have not sent in your membership dues for 2022, please take a moment and send them in today to our Mailing Address: P.O. Box 320166 West Roxbury, MA 02132

Our Board of Directors encourages you to continue your membership and support of NETSA and invite a colleague to join; this will strengthen not only NETSA but your own voice as well.

Sincerely,

Katie Maguire
Executive Director
